Chelsea hit SIX second-half goals to see off Leeds in Carabao Cup classic

BREAKING: Chelsea score six second-half goals to stun Leeds 6-3 in a Carabao Cup classic at Stamford Bridge, four of them in 12 minutes.

Chelsea scored six second-half goals tonight. Six.

This was the Carabao Cup at Stamford Bridge, and for forty five minutes it looked like a normal cup tie. Then the second half happened, and at one point Chelsea put four past Leeds in twelve minutes. Twelve. That's not a purple patch, that's a landslide with a scoreboard attached. Look at this face, that's a Chelsea player who can barely believe what his own team is doing.

And here's the cruel part for Leeds. They scored three goals away at the Bridge, which on most nights wins you the tie, and they still lost by three. Nine goals in one cup match is the kind of night neutrals dream about and defensive coaches wake up sweating over.

So Chelsea march on, six three, and somewhere in Yorkshire a defending session is being scheduled for very early tomorrow morning.
