BREAKING: Manchester United stunned 2-0 by newly-promoted Hull City in their Premier League season opener.

Manchester United, beaten two nil by newly promoted Hull City. Opening day of the Premier League season, and the Tigers mauled them at the KCOM.

Hull only came up from the Championship this summer, and they played like they'd been waiting years for this exact afternoon. Two goals, no reply, and United barely laid a glove on them. You can see the celebrations here, and every bit of it was earned.

Now look at the United players, because that picture says more than any post-match interview will. And here they are at full time, staring at the turf. Newly promoted sides are not supposed to do this to Manchester United, but nobody told Hull.

One game into the season, and United are already the story for all the wrong reasons.
