Nvidia, Apple each gave $25 million for Trump's ballroom, Washington Post reports
NEW: Nvidia and Apple each donated $25 million toward Trump's $330 million White House ballroom, newly revealed documents show.
Nvidia and Apple each wrote a 25 million dollar check for Trump's ballroom.
That's according to newly revealed documents reported by the Washington Post. The project is a 330 million dollar White House ballroom, and two of the most valuable companies on Earth just covered 50 million of it between them. You can see the house in question right here, the one currently getting an event space bolted onto it.
Think about who's paying. Jensen Huang's Nvidia, a company whose entire export business runs through Washington's chip rules. And Tim Cook's Apple, which has spent years negotiating tariff carve-outs. For firms that size, 25 million is a rounding error. As a line item next to the regulatory decisions they care about, it might be the best priced real estate in America.
The ballroom gets built either way. The receipts are what everyone will remember.
