BREAKING: Six people killed in a Houthi attack on the Egyptian-owned ship Tihamah in the Bab al-Mandeb, the first shipping deaths linked to the Houthis since the US-Israel war on Iran began, Yemen's government says.

Six people are dead after a Houthi missile attack on a cargo ship in the Bab al-Mandeb strait. The Egyptian-owned Tihamah was hit by three ballistic missiles on Tuesday, and this footage shows the vessel burning in the water.

Three Pakistani nationals and one Indonesian crew member were killed in the first strike. Then, as rescue teams were evacuating the dead and wounded, the Houthis fired again, hitting the rescue operation itself. Two responders were killed there. Ten people were wounded in total. These pictures show the damage, the bridge and superstructure gutted by fire.

These are the first shipping deaths tied to the Houthis since the US and Israel went to war with Iran in February, and they come after the collapse of the 2022 truce in Yemen. Yemen's government is now demanding the world move from condemnation to decisive action.

So the question.
