US court drops graft case against Gautam Adani

JUST IN: A US court has dropped its bribery and fraud case against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani.

Gautam Adani just beat the American justice system. The US court case accusing him of bribery and fraud has been dropped.

This is the man you're looking at here, Asia's most famous billionaire, whose empire lost tens of billions in market value the moment American prosecutors came after him in late 2024. The allegations were ugly, bribes to win contracts, misleading investors, the works. Adani denied all of it from day one, and tonight the case is gone.

For the Adani Group this is enormous. Foreign lenders who went quiet can pick up the phone again, and Indian markets will read this as a green light. Watch the Adani tickers in Mumbai when the bell rings, because that's where the verdict gets priced.

But here's what I'd trade. A criminal case dying doesn't automatically kill everything else American regulators had cooking. So, does Adani face zero active US enforcement cases by year end?
