Spurs earn deserved win at Chelsea after Penders error and Palmer red

BREAKING: Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge after goalkeeper Mike Penders punches the ball into his own net, Mathys Tel adds a stunning solo goal and Cole Palmer is sent off.

Chelsea's goalkeeper just punched the ball into his own net.

Tottenham won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, and honestly the scoreline flatters Chelsea. Mike Penders, the young keeper, went to clear a ball and somehow fisted it past himself. You can see the Spurs players loving every second of it in the rain.

Then Mathys Tel decided the own goal needed company, and produced a genuinely gorgeous solo run to make it two. And because this is Chelsea at the moment, Cole Palmer capped the afternoon by getting himself sent off. Tempers were running hot all game, and these pictures tell you exactly how friendly it got out there.

A derby win away at the Bridge, gifted, earned and then wrapped in a red card. Spurs fans will be unbearable until roughly Wednesday, and frankly they've paid for the privilege.
