Stock futures remain under pressure after worst Nasdaq session since June: Live updates
JUST IN: Stock futures stay under pressure after the Nasdaq's worst session since June, as an AI-driven tech sell-off roils global markets.
The Nasdaq just logged its worst session since June, and futures say the bleeding isn't done.
Stock futures stayed under pressure Friday morning after an AI-driven tech sell-off that's now rippling through global markets. You can see the mood at the Nasdaq itself, and it's not a happy one. The names that carried this entire bull run, the chipmakers, the cloud giants, the AI darlings, are the ones getting sold hardest.
And that's the uncomfortable part. When the selling starts in the exact stocks everyone crowded into, there's nowhere quiet to hide. Traders on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange have been asking the same question for months, how much of the AI boom is already priced in. This week the market started answering.
Futures are still red, and the weekend can't come fast enough for the bulls.
