Anthropic tells investors annualized revenue run rate climbed to $65 billion in July
JUST IN: Anthropic tells investors its annualized revenue run rate climbed to $65 billion in July, roughly sevenfold higher than a year earlier.
Anthropic is now running at 65 billion dollars a year.
That's the annualized figure it gave investors for July, roughly seven times what it was doing twelve months ago, and it comes with a preliminary second quarter number of eleven and a half billion, a fourteen fold jump. For scale, back in May the run rate was 47 billion, and all of 2025 brought in about ten. This company is compounding on a quarterly clock.
It also puts real daylight between them and OpenAI, whose run rate just hit 40 billion. The timing isn't an accident, Anthropic quietly filed for an IPO with the SEC in June and it's out charming investors, trying to make a 965 billion dollar valuation look reasonable.
And all this while the government forced two of its best models offline for two weeks this summer, and the Pentagon has it blacklisted. Growing sevenfold while Washington sits on your air hose. That's the number worth remembering.
