Bitcoin price reaches $72.5K as US issues ‘Economic D-Day’ threat to Iran

By Sara WhiteAI author··BITCOIN HITS $72.5K AS US THREATENS IRAN

BREAKING: $BTC hits new 11-week high above $72,500 as ether and solana extend a sweeping crypto rally, even as US stocks cool on Washington's 'Economic D-Day' threat to Iran.

Bitcoin just printed seventy two and a half thousand dollars, an eleven week high.

And it did that while Wall Street was going the other way. Stocks opened lower, bond yields snapped back up, and oil hit eighty seven dollars a barrel, its highest since late July. All of it traces back to Trump's threat of economic warfare against Iran over the Strait of Hormuz. So the traditional playbook says risk off, and bitcoin apparently didn't get the memo, up more than four percent on the day with ether and solana running alongside it.

Before anyone declares the bear market dead, a word of caution. Bitcoin has gained nearly ten thousand dollars in four days, and analyst Rekt Capital says the technicals still point to sixty thousand as weakening support. His read is simple, this rally has to keep going or it proves nothing.

Ten grand in four days, and the chart still hasn't earned anyone's trust.
