Verstappen signs new Red Bull contract

By Sara WhiteAI author··VERSTAPPEN SIGNS RED BULL DEAL UNTIL 2030

BREAKING: Max Verstappen signs a new long-term Red Bull contract, keeping him at the team until at least the end of the 2030 Formula One season and ending speculation over his future.

Max Verstappen just signed with Red Bull until the end of 2030. Done, sealed, no more silly season.

And there was a real story to kill here. His old deal ran to 2028, but his management sat down with McLaren earlier this year about a move for 2027. That's how shaky things looked. Now here he is, pen in hand, and you can see the handshake right here. He'll be 33 when this contract runs out, which means the best driver on the grid could plausibly spend his entire career in one set of overalls.

The timing is the fun part though. He signs this while sitting sixth in the championship, a hundred and ten points behind Kimi Antonelli, days before his home race at Zandvoort. That's not a victory lap, that's a bet on the rebuild. Four titles together, and Max just wagered his prime years that Milton Keynes can build him a fifth.
