Kimberly Guilfoyle is out as ambassador to Greece, and the White House pushed her.

New press secretary Katie Zacharia said it plainly from the podium, we asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. Trump put it his own way before boarding Marine One, she was doing a good job, but we didn't like what we were reading.

What they were reading was the Wall Street Journal. One report says she persistently promoted a Greek company and brought a construction lobbyist into meetings with foreign officials. Another says she asked a Trump donor to quietly wire a hundred thousand dollars to pay down her American Express bill before her confirmation hearing. Guilfoyle calls all of it false and says she'll defend her name vigorously.

And when a reporter noted she was once engaged to Don Jr, nearly family, Trump said no, she wasn't. She dated my son a long time ago. A year in Athens, and that's the goodbye.
