The Tesla Roadster flew, drove upside down, and hit 60mph in under a second
BREAKING: Tesla unveils its next-generation Roadster, which drove upside down, briefly flew and hit 60mph in under a second at a demo in Waco, Texas, powered by SpaceX thruster technology.
The new Tesla Roadster just flew. Actually flew.
At a demo in Waco, Texas, Tesla's long awaited supercar drove upside down, lifted off the ground, and hit sixty miles an hour in under a second. The trick is SpaceX thruster technology bolted onto a car, which is either genius or completely unhinged, and honestly with Elon Musk it's usually both at once.
The whole event ran under thirty minutes and felt more like a stunt show than a product launch. No price, no trims, no delivery date. Remember, this car was announced back in 2017 with a two hundred thousand dollar tag and deliveries promised for 2020. People put down deposits. That was nine years ago.
So the hardest fact tonight is this. The Roadster can apparently defy gravity, but it still can't reach a showroom.
