Bitcoin and crypto stocks remain down after US senate fails to advance regulatory bill
BREAKING: $BTC slides to around $76,100, down 3.6% on the day, as Bitcoin and crypto stocks stay under pressure after the US Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act. 📉
Bitcoin just sank to seventy six thousand one hundred dollars. Down three point six percent on the day, and it's not bouncing.
This is the hangover from Washington. The Senate couldn't advance the Clarity Act, the bill that was supposed to finally tell crypto who its referee is, and the market took the hint. No rulebook means no fresh institutional money feeling brave, and the coins traders bought on regulation hopes are getting sold right back.
Crypto stocks are wearing it too. The exchanges and the miners live and die on trading volume and legitimacy, and Tuesday they got neither. The whole sector has spent a year telling everyone that clear rules were the unlock. Fair enough, but that argument cuts both ways when the rules don't show up.
Here's the number that stings. Bitcoin was priced for clarity, and tonight it's priced for Congress. Seventy six thousand and drifting.
