CoreWeave's CEO sold nearly $1 billion of stock since IPO, filings show
JUST IN: CoreWeave's CEO has sold nearly $1 billion of stock since the company's IPO, filings show.
CoreWeave's CEO has sold nearly a billion dollars of his own stock since the IPO.
That's what the filings show. Michael Intrator took the AI cloud company public in March, rode one of the hottest listings of the year, and has been steadily cashing out ever since. Almost one billion dollars, in under two years, while retail buyers piled in on the AI story.
Now, executives sell stock all the time, and a lot of it runs on pre-scheduled plans. That's the polite version. The less polite version is that the man who knows the company best keeps converting his shares into cash at a pace most founders would blush at. CoreWeave rents out Nvidia chips to the AI boom, and the boom is only worth what people believe it is.
Watch what the CEO does, not what he says. He's saying a billion dollars worth.
