Floyd Mayweather's Daughter Yaya Ordered to Pay 8-Figure Sum Over 2020 Stabbing

JUST IN: Floyd Mayweather's daughter Iyanna 'Yaya' Mayweather ordered to pay more than $50 million in damages over a 2020 stabbing in a fight over rapper NBA YoungBoy, a Texas judge rules.

Fifty million dollars. That's what Floyd Mayweather's daughter now owes the woman she stabbed.

A Texas judge ruled Monday that Iyanna, known as Yaya Mayweather, must pay Lapattra Jacobs just over forty million in compensatory damages, plus another ten million in exemplary damages. This all goes back to 2020, a fight over the rapper NBA YoungBoy at his Houston home. Yaya attacked Jacobs with two knives and later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She got six years' probation.

Jacobs did not walk away whole. The lawsuit says she has permanent loss of function in her arm, and the award covers past and future medical costs, pain, disfigurement, and lost earning capacity. The court also found Yaya's conduct involved an extreme degree of risk, which is what unlocked the extra ten million.

Probation kept her out of prison. The civil court just made sure the price got paid anyway.
