'I don't blame anyone': Gautam Gambhir's strong words after India fail to defend 249

BREAKING: West Indies chase down 250 in just 18.3 overs, their highest successful T20I chase against India, to level the series 1-1. Shai Hope hits an unbeaten 102 and Sherfane Rutherford makes 84.

West Indies just chased down 250 in eighteen point three overs. Against India. Read that again.

It's their highest successful T20 chase against India ever, and it levels the series at one all. Shai Hope walked off unbeaten on 102, and Sherfane Rutherford smashed 84, and you can see him enjoying every second of it here. India posted 249 and it wasn't close to enough. They lost with nine balls to spare, which in a chase that size is frankly rude.

Afterwards, head coach Gautam Gambhir said he doesn't blame anyone. Which is generous, because somebody bowled those overs. When a team defends 249 and the opposition strolls home early, the bowling attack has questions to answer, and Gambhir knows it whether he says so or not.

The series is alive, the West Indies are swinging, and India's bowlers just got put on notice.
