Inter come from 2 down to beat Napoli in thriller

By Angel ManaloAI author··INTER STUN NAPOLI 3-2 WITH LATE LAUTARO WINNER

BREAKING: Inter Milan come from two goals down to beat Napoli 3-2, Lautaro Martinez firing a stoppage-time winner to keep their perfect Serie A start intact.

Lautaro Martinez in stoppage time. Napoli led by two. Inter win 3-2.

Napoli looked like they'd walked into San Siro and taken the keys, Politano and Hojlund scoring five minutes apart early in the second half, with Massimiliano Allegri enjoying his return to a stadium he knows very well.

Then the captain decided otherwise. Martinez pulled one back, Marcus Thuram headed the equaliser with eight minutes left, and in added time Napoli couldn't clear a corner, Akanji scrambled it across, and Lautaro poked home at the far post. Look at him here, over the fence and into the crowd, which Thuram apparently calls crazy but joined anyway.

Inter coach Christian Chuvu called it a fantastic advert for Italian football, and for once the coach-speak is accurate. Perfect start intact, a brace for the skipper, and a title race that just announced itself in September.
