JUST IN: NFL star Tyreek Hill found liable for two counts of battery by a Miami jury in a civil trial brought by his estranged wife, who is awarded $500,000, but cleared on the eight remaining claims.

A Miami jury has found Tyreek Hill liable for two counts of battery against his estranged wife.

The civil trial brought by Lakeeta Vaccaro ended Tuesday, and the jury awarded her five hundred thousand dollars in compensatory damages. The two counts cover incidents from January 2024 and April 2025. Hill was cleared on the eight remaining claims, which included further battery, assault and continuing domestic violence, and the jury declined to award punitive damages.

Vaccaro testified that Hill pulled her hair and treated her, in her words, like she was just a man. Hill denied what he called false allegations, though he admitted shoving her in one instance and putting a hole in a wall. After the verdict he embraced one of his attorneys, then left the courtroom alone.

Hill is 32, a free agent, and rehabbing a dislocated knee from his time with the Dolphins. His agent says he could be ready to play by November. Whether any team now wants that call is another matter entirely.
