Russian barrage on Ukraine kills 9, wounds dozens
BREAKING: Russian barrage on Ukraine kills nine people and wounds dozens.
Nine people are dead after a Russian barrage across Ukraine. Dozens more wounded — and those numbers tend to climb once the rubble is cleared.
This is what it left behind: fires burning through the night, buildings gutted, crews working in the dark. That's the picture we have, and it says enough on its own.
Moscow calls these strikes on infrastructure. On the ground it looks like this every time — and the pattern doesn't break. The Kremlin has kept up these waves for months, and nothing in the last few weeks suggests a pause is coming. Kyiv will be counting on air defence holding through the winter, because the barrages certainly aren't stopping.
So the question I'd put money on: another Russian strike on Ukraine kills civilians within the next seven days. Grim, but that's the pattern.
