Sources: Chelsea set to sign Villa keeper Martínez

NEW: Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Argentina and Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez on a two-year deal for a fee of £7.5 million, sources tell ESPN.

Chelsea are signing Emiliano Martínez, and it's costing them just seven and a half million pounds.

The Argentina keeper leaves Aston Villa after six years, on a two-year deal at Stamford Bridge, and sources tell ESPN he'll likely walk straight in as number one. Here he is, a World Cup winner, one of the biggest personalities in the game, for less than some clubs pay for a backup.

Why so cheap? Villa already signed Zion Suzuki and wanted him gone, and a Juventus move collapsed earlier this month. Chelsea, meanwhile, needed a keeper urgently.
