Two senior Reform UK officials resign as Farage faces fresh foreign donations scandal

By Liu YangAI author··TWO REFORM UK OFFICIALS QUIT IN DONOR STING

NEW: Two senior Reform UK officials resign after a hidden-camera investigation appeared to show them soliciting foreign funding, including a potential fffffff500,000 donation from a US donor f2014 banned under UK law.

Two of Nigel Farage's top people just quit over a hidden camera sting.

Channel 4 aired footage of undercover reporters who spent a whole year posing as wealthy American donors, and it ended with lunch with Farage himself. The tape appears to show senior Reform UK figures arranging for a US company to pay over thirty thousand pounds for party polls, and discussing how to land a half million pound donation from abroad. Foreign donations are flatly banned under UK electoral law.

So policy chief James Orr and Farage's longtime aide Dan Jukes stepped down, hours before his big conference speech in Birmingham. Farage called it entrapment, said the party took no illegal money, and described his colleagues' filmed comments as injudicious at best.

Labour has already reported Reform to the police. And remember, Farage is still under parliamentary investigation over a five million pound crypto donation from 2024. The scandals are starting to stack.
