BREAKING: An Amazon Boeing 767 cargo plane overruns the runway at Miami International Airport, bursting into flames and sending thick black smoke over the airport after arriving from San Juan.

An Amazon cargo plane has crashed at Miami International Airport and burst into flames.

The Boeing 767 was arriving from San Juan around 2 PM when it overran the runway, and dispatch audio obtained by TMZ says it struck a truck before coming to rest across a roadway just outside the airport. The jet stayed largely intact, but flames and thick black smoke poured from the wreckage as crews swarmed in. One responder on the radio warned, the plane's on fire, put your game faces on.

The airport went into a brief ground stop, and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says travelers should expect significant delays while the FAA investigates.

What we don't know yet is who was hurt. Officials haven't said how many people were aboard, though dispatch audio refers to one patient. A fully loaded 767 came off a runway and caught fire in the middle of one of America's busiest airports. The investigation starts now.
