BlackRock draws $205 billion in client funds as quarterly profit beats estimates
JUST IN: $BLK draws $205 billion in client funds as quarterly profit beats estimates, pushing BlackRock's assets under management to a record $15.49 trillion.
Two hundred and five billion dollars walked into BlackRock last quarter.
That pushes the world's biggest asset manager to fifteen point four nine trillion under management, a record, up from thirteen and a half trillion a year ago. Profit came in at fifteen dollars ninety three a share when Wall Street expected fourteen thirteen, and the stock jumped five percent before the opening bell. Larry Fink says market fundamentals are strong and well supported, which is exactly what you say when the AI rally just did your job for you.
The iShares ETF machine pulled in a hundred and thirty four billion on its own, and even bonds took seventy eight billion despite that ugly Treasury selloff. The quieter story is private credit, where redemption requests at the HPS lending fund eased from thirteen percent to eleven and a half. The panic there isn't over, but it's cooling.
Fifteen and a half trillion dollars. That's one firm managing more money than the GDP of China.
