This is what one of the strikes looked like from the air, fire and smoke pouring out of the plant. Saudi Arabia sits at the heart of global oil supply, and the market reacted the way it always does when that kingdom's infrastructure burns. Brent crude is pushing toward 99 dollars a barrel.

We've seen this pattern before. Houthi strikes on Saudi facilities in 2019 briefly knocked out half the kingdom's output, and prices spiked within hours. The question now is how much capacity is actually damaged, and how Riyadh responds. Renewed hostilities across the Middle East mean every barrel out of the Gulf carries a risk premium again.

Seventy three people wounded, and oil a dollar away from triple digits. That's where this stands tonight.
