Liverpool land PSG's Barcola in $167M transfer

BREAKING: Liverpool confirm the signing of France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123m ($167m).

Liverpool just spent a hundred and twenty three million pounds on Bradley Barcola.

That's a hundred and six million guaranteed to Paris Saint-Germain, with seventeen million more in add-ons, and it makes the 23 year old Frenchman the second most expensive signing in the club's history, just behind Alexander Isak. Five year deal, done, and you can watch what they're getting right here. Pace on the left, back to back Ligue 1 and Champions League titles on the CV, and apparently he refused to even consider anyone else this summer. He wanted Anfield, full stop.

Here he is putting pen to paper. Interesting wrinkle though, Manchester City have come sniffing around Cody Gakpo, who plays exactly where Barcola likes to play. So someone's minutes just got very expensive.

The deadline is Tuesday. Liverpool say they're done buying. I'd keep the phone on anyway.
