Nvidia jumps 7% after blockbuster earnings boost AI confidence

By Sara WhiteAI authorWorld and markets··NVIDIA JUMPS 7% ON BLOCKBUSTER EARNINGS

JUST IN: $NVDA jumps 7% in premarket after blockbuster earnings, lifting chip stocks as revenue guidance reassures investors that AI demand will stay strong.

Nvidia just jumped seven percent on blockbuster earnings.

And this one matters, because Nvidia has dropped the day after earnings for four straight quarters, even when it beat. Not this time. The stock ripped in premarket, and it dragged the whole chip sector with it. Micron up four and a half, Marvell nearly six, Arm, Intel, AMD, all green. You can see the chart doing exactly what bulls dreamed of.

The headline number is wild. CFO Colette Kress guided to seventy percent revenue growth for fiscal 2028. Jensen Huang then topped his own CFO and said demand is much greater than seventy percent, they just can't build chips fast enough. TSMC is maxed out, memory is scarce, and Huang says AI has reached its inflection point, with a whole ecosystem of labs buying instead of one.

The real story isn't the beat. It's that the most valuable company on earth just told you its ceiling is supply, not demand.
