BREAKING: Train derails in southeast England with about 150 passengers on board, leaving two people severely injured. The service had departed London Victoria before veering off the tracks.

A train carrying around 150 passengers has derailed in southeast England, and two people are severely injured.

The service left London Victoria and came off the tracks somewhere along its route. Emergency crews are on the scene now, and you can see them here, working around the derailed carriages in the first pictures coming in. These images show the state of the train itself, carriages off the rails, responders moving through them checking for anyone still inside.

What we know at this hour is limited. No word yet on what caused it, no word on the condition of the rest of the passengers, and investigators from the rail accident branch will almost certainly take over the site once the injured are clear.

Two people fighting serious injuries tonight, and 150 more who walked onto a train at Victoria and ended up in a field of flashing lights.
