U.S. envoys Witkoff and Kushner are in Moscow in a new push for peace between Russia and Ukraine

JUST IN: Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have arrived in Moscow for a new push to end the Russia-Ukraine war, with talks in Kyiv expected Sunday.

Witkoff and Kushner are on the ground in Moscow. Trump's two envoys were met at the airport by Kirill Dmitriev, sent to revive peace talks that have been stalled for months while Washington's attention sat on Iran. Their last Kremlin trip was in January, face to face with Putin. They've never set foot in Kyiv, and that changes Sunday, Zelenskyy says he's expecting them.

He's also put something concrete on the table. Ukraine will halt airstrikes while the envoys are in Russia, and he's asked Moscow to do the same. So far, silence from the Kremlin.

The backdrop tells you how hard this gets. Overnight, Russian drones hit Kyiv and Boryspil airports, and Zelenskyy says that was a direct answer to plans for an American aircraft flying in. In Dnipropetrovsk, missiles killed five workers on their shift. A locksmith, an electrician, a plumber, a machinist.
