BREAKING: Iran's IRGC says it is 'counting the moments' until it can sink US warships near the Strait of Hormuz, as a Saudi Aramco building in Dhahran is struck overnight by Houthi attacks.

Iran says it is counting the moments until it can sink American warships.

That's the IRGC's own commander, Ali Ozmaei, on state television, daring US vessels to approach the Strait of Hormuz. Central Command fired back within hours, saying the man has no navy and that American forces and Gulf partners moved nineteen million barrels of crude through that strait just yesterday. You can see the kind of firepower they mean here, a carrier group operating in the Gulf.

Meanwhile the Houthis struck a Saudi Aramco building in Dhahran overnight. A fire, no injuries, but it follows airport attacks in Riyadh that killed people and shut King Khalid International until Saturday. The militia operates out of Yemen, where the civil war is back at full scale.

President Trump says US forces won't strike Iran before the November third midterms. Tehran, by the Journal's reporting, is hardening its nuclear sites and preparing its population for war within weeks.
