Munoz's late strike earns Liverpool draw with Forest in Iraola's Anfield debut

BREAKING: Liverpool held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest at Anfield, with Victor Munoz snatching a late point in Iraola's Anfield debut.

Liverpool needed a stoppage-time goal just to draw at home to Nottingham Forest.

Two two at Anfield, and it took Victor Munoz striking late to rescue the point. Not exactly the housewarming Andoni Iraola had in mind for his first home game in charge. You can see the relief in these pictures, that celebration is a team that knows it dodged something.

And credit to Forest, because they came to Anfield and twice put themselves in position to take all three points off a side that spends money like it's going out of fashion. Liverpool had the ball plenty, look at them here, but possession doesn't show up on the scoreboard.

Iraola's whole reputation is built on intensity and control, and Forest just wobbled both in front of the Kop. One home game, two points already gone. That's the number his new bosses will remember.
