Solanke strikes late as 10-man Spurs salvage point at Manchester United

BREAKING: Ten-man Tottenham snatch a 1-1 draw at Manchester United, Dominic Solanke heading home a late equaliser after Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off for headbutting Luke Shaw.

Rodrigo Bentancur got sent off for a headbutt, and Spurs still took a point off United.

This was at Old Trafford, and for seventy two minutes it was a snoozefest. Then Bryan Mbeumo spun and finished off a Matheus Cunha cross, and the whole thing caught fire. Bentancur flew into Luke Shaw with a scissor challenge that could've broken a leg. Shaw shoved him over, Bentancur got up and put his head into Shaw's face. Straight red. You can see the flashpoint here, and honestly, Shaw was lucky to stay on himself.

Down to ten, bottom of the league, and somehow Spurs found it. Sandro Tonali floated one in, Lisandro Martinez got out-muscled, and Dominic Solanke headed home in added time. Look at those celebrations, like they'd won the thing.

Here's the ugly truth though. That was only Tottenham's third league goal all season, and they're still winless after six games. A point at Old Trafford doesn't fix that.
